Fringe 2015 - For Robin Williams: A Benefit Gig

Line-up confirmed so far includes: Nish Kumar (MC), Tony Law, Trygve Wakenshaw, Tiernan Douieb, Alex Edelman, Sofie Hagen, ACMS in the guise of Thom Tuck and John-Luke Roberts, and the Weirdos collective (whose 2012 Christmas shows saw them perform Spielberg's Hook live on stage, with the award-winning John Kearns in Williams' role of Peter Pan).

Jasper Carrott: how Robin Williams helped his US shows

Jasper explained that he sees himself as a storyteller, more like his American comedy heroes, rather than a teller of jokes. This style led him to tour the USA in 1984 and a recommendation from the late Robin Williams meant it was a sell-out.
