Alex manages to get Lucy to go to a job interview and also manages to get Colin to risk his life in a fire. Mel asks Kevin if he would go out with her if he was not married. Jo reveals she breeds mice in the parlour.

Kevin attempts to buy a special dress for Jo. Lucy uses Colin in order to help her get the children into a faith school by pouncing on the local vicar. Alex turns into a pig when coming into contact with Mel's chocolate cake.

Mel attempts to pull a man she is interviewing. Jo surprises Kevin by showing off her new allotment. Alex gives a payrise to anyone who refuses to speak to Colin. Jo makes sure Lucy's face is symmetrical by removing her eyebrows.
