Overdue bills lead to the electricity being cut off. Garth has been fighting in school and the central heating is leaking. Roll on two useless plumbers, a pair of female plumbers who botch it up and one who couldn't give a firm time arriving just as the house begins to flood.

A letter from Garth both worries Tracey and cheers her up, He's been fighting at school, but he is coming home for the holidays. The bills however don't cheer Tracey up, the electricity is overdue and is duly cut off.

Dorien demands that Tracey fixes the overflowing guttering as it is keeping husband Marcus awake at night.

The girls call several plumbers, Grief Stricken, Can't Give A Firm Time, Not Up To It and finally two female plumbers, who finally fix the heating.

After Sharon overhears them assuming that Sharon and Tracey are lesbians, Tracey starts to set them straight and confesses that their husbands are in prison.

Soon after the job is finished the plumbing starts to leak all over the house, just in the nick of time Can't Give A Firm Time turns up to save the day.

Garth sends another letter, he isn't coming home.
