Birds Of A Feather - Series 7, Episode 2 - Nearest And Dearest - British Comedy Guide (original) (raw)

With Chris and Darryl due for release Sharon's patience with Dorien is running out. Dorien offers to take her out for the day leading to Sharon pretending her friend has died to get out of it. A stag night out causes Tracey to worry about Garth turning to crime.

Further details

Sharon gives Dorien what for when she asks for yet another cover story to tell Marcus, leading Dorien to offer Sharon one last luxury day before going back to her old life when the boys get released. Something Sharon is dreading.

Not actually wanting Dorien's gift of a trip to a health spa and a night at the opera in Covent Garden, Sharon stupidly pretends an old friend has died and tells Dorien that she must attend the funeral, picking one at random from the obituary section of the local paper only for them to gatecrash a gay funeral for someone of the opposite gender much to Dorien's bemusement.

Tracey is worrying that Garth will go the same way as his father after he gets arrested following a stag night out on which a sheep was abused, giving him a lecture she tells him that he can't grass on a mate, once Dorien has offered up her camera to take a photo of Garthy's first arrest.
