The world's superheros have gone missing! The Earth is gripped by chaos, crimewaves and cats stuck up trees, unable to be rescued.
The evil Dr Muhahahaha is responsible, of course. He is on the Planet Invincible, holding auditions for a talent show called The Superhero Factor, designed to find the best Superhero in the multiverse. What he's actually doing is transporting the successful auditionees back to his evil HQ on Mu Force One where he is draining them of their powers in order to unite them in one supreme Super-being, himself.
Teaming up with a motley gang of superhero rejects, Rufus reluctantly pulls on a pair of extremely suspect underpants - courtesy of his Future Self - and heads to the Planet Invincible to save the day.
