Bex agrees to meet Murray for dinner, where he plans to re-propose. The evening gets off to a bad start when Murray's friend Grant loses the ring he was supposed to bring.
Things go from bad to worse when Murray see's Julian at the restaurant. He tries to cancel the table but he's too late. Murray and Bex are clearly pleased to see each other, but Murray is interrupted every time he tries to re-propose. To make things worse, while Murray is distracted, Julian invites Bex on a date despite Murray's best efforts to discourage him.
Grant finally appears with the ring and Murray suggests he and Bex get back to their evening. Things begin to look up for Murray until he finds out Bex has been offered a job in Birmingham, and Grant gets into a fight with Julian. Murray tries to help his friend but ends up knocking Julian unconscious. Despite the evening having not gone to plan, Murray decides to re-propose to Bex anyway, but what will her answer be?
