King Gary - Series 2, Episode 6 - The Wedding - Part 2 - British Comedy Guide (original) (raw)
The epic 'sten do' has really taken its toll on Gary and Terri's wedding party. It's hangover city, no one's in charge, and everyone from wedding caterers to florists to DJs Fabio and Grooverider are stuck in a farmer's field, not knowing where the wedding venue is.
Further details
As the sun rises, Gary waits at the castle ruins for a fleet of King Property Maintenance vans to arrive, accompanied by Winkle - who appears to have been in a fight with Martin, Jodie Simone's ex, leaving Winkle bloody nosed and Jodie Simone nowhere to be seen. Gary charges Winkle with the task of leading the maintenance boys and fixing up the ruins to work as a wedding venue, while Gary returns to the hotel and tries to find Jodie Simone.
Trying to find anyone at all turns out to be tricky. It's very much the morning after the night before - and the epic 'sten do' has really taken its toll on Gary and Terri's wedding party. It's hangover city, no one's in charge, and everyone from wedding caterers to florists to DJs Fabio and Grooverider are stuck in a farmer's field, not knowing where the wedding venue is. As the problems stack up for Gary, Terri is on a mission to find her mother - not to mention everyone else. She tracks them down at an after party, still raging mid morning, and quickly shuts it down. When she finds he mum there, she learns that her Dad can't make the wedding, unable to secure his day release - who will walk Terri down the aisle?
While Terri contends with that, Gary is having trouble with the groom party's outfits - the light coloured trousers are presenting something of a problem ...
But in the end, nothing can stand in the way of true love (aaahhh ...) and Gary and Terri are married at the spectacularly spruced up castle ruins. And there's not a dry eye (or trouser) in the house.
