Further details
Revered folk guitarist Merriman Weir makes a rare television appearance, performing some of his classic songs of melancholy and regret, hopefully with the correct tuning. In the second part of the show, Merriman joins Dean (who also happens to have become his new manager) to chat about the forthcoming reissue of his seminal album Gallows Man, which sold only eight copies on its first release, possibly as a result of its cover, which has since been replaced. He also talks frankly about the circumstances surrounding the lynching of him and his ex-girlfriend on their way home from the Cambridge Folk Festival.
