Life isn't good for Zoe. Her stepmother Sheila hates and her and her dad is never around. And at school, she's having a miserable time at the hands of school bully Tina Trotts. So, when a rat shows up in her bedroom, she calls him Armitage and quickly makes him her friend.
But Armitage turns out to be no ordinary rodent. This rat can dance, and he's got some serious moves. Zoe decides to enter him in the school talent contest. However, gross and greasy Burt, the owner of the school burger van, has other ideas, and most of them involve a mincer...
