Still Game - Series 9, Episode 6 - Over The Hill - British Comedy Guide (original) (raw)
It's last orders, as the Still Game story comes to an end. In this poignant final episode, comedy fans will bid a fond farewell to Jack, Victor and the rest of the Craiglang gang.
Further details
At the Clansman, the pals reflect about the marching of time, which puts Jack into a contemplative mood. He realises himself and Victor should stop making up excuses and accomplish their long-standing ambition to climb world-famous Munro, Ben Lomond.
Energised by their new resolve, Jack and Victor invite Tam, Winston and Boabby to join their exciting expedition. Excuses are thin on the ground so the gang reluctantly agree to join Jack and Victor on their outdoor adventure.
Isa confesses to a shocked Navid that she's addicted to animal charities and financially strapped thanks to her furry friends. So while Navid stages an intervention to help Isa kick her charity habit, the boys head off to Ben Lomond to conquer a mountain and make memories.
This must-see finale celebrates the iconic comedy, tugging at heart strings and featuring all the Still Game favourites.
That's plenty.

Jack and Victor go gentle into that good night
Kiernan and Hemphill could have indulged themselves with a two-hander the way soap operas sometimes like to come over all Samuel Beckett but generously they invited the gang along for the last ha-ha.

Faceless favourite revealed as sitcom ends
She arrived in Scotland as a 14-year-old child bride from Pakistan, got involved in a high-profile campaign to win justice for the family of a murdered Asian waiter and went on to play one of the nation's best-known TV comedy characters. For 17 years Still Game fans have been unable to see the face of the shopkeeper who has delivered some of its funniest lines - until now. Meena Harrid, who has been played by Shamshad Akhtar since its very first episode, was fully seen for the first time in the closing scenes of the final episode of the hit comedy.
