The Twirlywoos watch a carpenter at work. They see her measuring wood with a tape measure. While she fetches her toolbox, the Twirlywoos pull the end of the measure across the garden, where they hide in a bush. A tug of war ensues between the Twirlywoos and the carpenter. The Hooter summons the Twirlywoos home, just as the carpenter gives a really big pull, and she falls back in surprise! In the boat, Peekaboo is pulling a long vine out of the hole in the wall. The Twirlywoos pull on the end of the vine, and it turns into a tug of war.
