MIAMI, Florida – Nicaragua earned their second victory in as many matches of the 2022 Concacaf Men’s Under-17 Championship Qualifiers with a 3-0 win versus Belize in Group D on Friday night at the Estadio Nacional in Managua, Nicaragua.
Felix Cano opened the scoring for the host Pinoleros in the 24’, followed by a pair of second half
goals from Juban Uriarte in the 56’ and 69’ to round out the 3-0 scoreline. Nicaragua lead Group D with six points.
The day in Group D started with Antigua and Barbuda improving to four points after two
matches thanks to a 1-0 win versus Turks and Caicos Islands.
The lone goal came right before halftime, as Tejhano Jarvis scored in the 45+1’ to deliver the
three points to the Benna Boys.
