Psychotherapy and Counselling Education

This course helps you to develop a range of listening and problem solving skills within a three-stage model of helping. It introduces you to some underpinning principles and important concepts in counselling, supported by an ethical framework and values of working within difference.

Based closely on the highly regarded Diploma in HE in Counselling that we used to deliver at Sheffield Hallam University, updated to meet professional requirements as set out by SCoPeD. The course has been continuously accredited by NCPS for the past 14 years.

Our Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy Course has been accredited by the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society which means that our graduates have a more straightforward route to apply for registration and the Accredited Register.
