Key of Q Chorus’ Pride tour stops in Kingston and New Paltz in June (original) (raw)
KINGSTON, N.Y. — Key of Q Chorus will perform at the Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Center in Uptown on June 6, at 7 p.m. and Redeemer Lutheran Church in New Paltz on June 20, at 2 p.m. as part of the group’s Pride tour, titled “Love Will Save the Day.”
Key of Q, comprised of LGBTQ+ and allied a cappella singers, said the uplifting performances center around “the many forms love can take — love for ourselves, the love we share with one another, and the love that sustains and strengthens our community.”
“At the heart of this year’s Pride theme is a simple but powerful truth: in uncertain times, queer community continues to sustain us,” an announcement said. ” Love Will Save the Day honors the chosen families, friendships, and spaces that help people feel seen, celebrated, and connected… and the transformative power of gathering together in song.”
