Common Name: Bunyip Scientific Name: Sermrostratus benevolens Name-Meaning: “Benevolent Beaked-Hippo ” Family: Anatorostridae [Descendants of Unknown Triassic Era Monotreme] Height: 6 Feet Tall Length: 17 Feet Long Weight: 2 Tons Diet: Herbivorous Appearance: Sermrostratus looks very similar to its ancestor's other descendants, the Platypus. They have round bulky bodies with small heads on a short neck, and a duck-like bill on the end. They lack a beaver-like tail, instead having a short stubby little tail. Their side spreading legs have feet that are not webbed, but instead wide to support their weight on the swampy mud, like the hippos they resemble ecologically. Their bodies are more reminiscent of the Australian marsupial, Diprotodon. Behavior: These two ton behemoths live in freshwater swamps, grazing on the vegetation around their habitat rather indiscriminately. Despite their size, these water dwellers are very peaceful. These peaceful grazers use electrosensory organs on
