The Man in the Factory - Introduction

Several of Lenin’s early advisors feared that he may suffer from chronic strokes, but to his fortune, he never fell to the condition. Lenin’s bold moves on the international stage led to the rise of communist and socialist parties all around the world. Most notably, May of 1926 saw peak levels of civil unrest in the Netherlands as the Communist Party and other far-left organizations agitated the Dutch police, eventually leading to a state of crisis and a de facto state of martial law. The discontented and disenfranchised Dutch working class eventually revolted in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam, and other major cities before fina
