Today's Care Bears Kid is Joey's sister Elaine from DIC's Care Bears animated series. Along with Joey, she appeared in the first half of the ninth episode titled "Dry Spell".

Like Joey, I attempted to make Elaine's design look a bit more like the other kids in the show,

while retaining the aspects of the original design. Otherwise, her clothing and hairstyle in this art remained faithful to the original design.

Out of all characters from the 1985 DIC series, she is probably my favourite human character, even if she's just a one-time character (or maybe, like Wendy, she might appear as a background character in some episodes).
