Today's Care Bears Kid is a prominent camper named Christy from Nelvana's 1986 Canadian feature film "Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation", the critically-panned sequel to the 1985 film "The Care Bears Movie".

Now honestly, the movie feels like an hour-long advertisement for the new "Care Bear Cubs" and "Care Bear Cousin Cubs" line. Besides, the story felt rather dark and gloomy in certain instances.

With all said and done, it's now time for a little overlook at Christy. She's one of the campers at Camp Champ, then she and fellow campers Dawn and John encounter the Care Bears and Cousin Cubs. She soon met the mischievous and powerful Dark Heart, who soon captured the grown-up Care Bears and Cousins in crystals. Christy was responsible for striving to stop Dark Heart's actions and ended up being cursed herself, only for her friends and Dark Heart himself to magically remove the curse from her.
