Grace loaded up the young mare, this would only be her second ever show and her first show in reining.

At the race she hopped on Kaleido, warming her up thoroughly before lining up at the gate to wait until their turn.

Once called in she breathed deep and walked in, Kaleido immediately raised her head, expecting to race barrels, but when Grace sat deep she realized they weren't running and lowered her head.

They started their trot, beautiful extended trot around the arena, pulling up to a stop and turning around, making a small turn at the same speed and then kicking into a pipe on the straight away. Turning the corner they ran into the middle of the arena and stopped in two steps, Grace sitting back slightly and cueing her mare, she started crossing her legs and spinning. Her beautiful rainbow hair flying in the wind and they made circle after circle, not perfect but not bad.

They loped off and turned, building speed and falling into their sliding stop, sliding about 7 feet before coming to a rest and backing up a few feet.

The crowd applauded and the pair exited the arena, Grace waving at Ben on the sidelines.
