seriously. damn, girl. is that thing made of plastic or something? because I look at the production designs and I look at screencaps and yep, the shading makes it look like it's made of shiny plastic or something. It even fits her like it's made partly of spandex, it doesn't even pretend to bunch up at the waist like a Kaiba Trenchsplosion would. your trenchcoat, yuriko, it makes no seeeense but whatever it was kind of fun to shade. if the hair looks weird, then it's my fault because I *gasp* WENT AGAINST THE DESIGN and shaded it in my ultra-shiny personal style. because somewhere deep in my subconscious, I just had to compound the shiny.

...at any rate, TA-DA! This looks nine million times better in color. It helps that I shrank her torso by a lot, which is why I should just always draw lineart and then come back to color/shade after not touching it for a week. That way, I can see the proportion errors and fix them. 8D (though there was a second possible problem, and idk if it matters now that problem one was fixed... I guess I'll find out in a week, huh? )
