I'm gonna be completely honest here. If you follow me, you're following a queer, disabled, agnostic, progressive artist. I personally don't care if you agree with me or not, especially as I typically don't/won't talk about messy, divisive topics on my online art galleries especially. But if you can't stomach the idea of me being different from you, just block me and move on. Simple as that.

My Bio
I am Adrian Mata: a child of the Philippines, a native of Orlando, Florida, and a storyteller at heart through artwork and literature. I am the creator of Sachairi and Sachora, two anthromorphic sea otters who are married and brother and sister-in-law, respectively, to Shellington and Pearl from Octonauts. I'm the creator and co-host of The Sachairi & Peaches Show, a podcast I do with my best friend, @LocalPeaches (Emma Settles). I also serve as Creative Director for a small news organization known as The World Telegram. I currently work at Universal Orlando as a part time "quick service runner" within their food & beverage department, and once briefly studied at Valencia College in pursuit of a degree in graphic design. Aside from that, I am a hobbyist of various abilities, from traditional and digital artwork and illustrations, to graphic design, and from a past life, producing music.

🦄❤️ Sending my love & appreciation to all the faculty & staff, students & alumni of University of the Arts in Philadelphia, as that institution--which dates back a century and a half--closes its doors next Friday. Also sending those vibes to @LocalPeaches, who is an alum of UArts and my co-host of The Sachairi & Peaches Show podcast, during this extremely difficult and tough time. For everyone who has studied or worked there, I hope you'll be able to carry those experiences and memories wherever you go while continuing with your education and careers.
For those looking to create something for my birthday coming up on April 1, I’d love to see Kubo (from Kubo and the Two Strings) and Nimona (from her self-titled film) interacting with each other and having fun and such. Hello there. It's been a little while since this podcast's last episode on February 14, 2024. Since then, the past few weeks have been rather tumultuous on my end as I tried to balance myself between my dayjob that I've talked about regularly on each episode, and this show. We recorded a game night edition that was meant for release the week after our most recent full episode. I then had a bad day at work the Friday after it was supposed to be released. And with spring break having already started and the theme parks getting busy during this time of year, my well-being hasn't been where it had been before then, wrecking the plans we had set out to wrap up the second half of this season. @LocalPeaches and I were able to record an update this week on The Sachairi & Peaches Show. While it's not a full episode, I do encourage you to listen wherever you get your podcasts and hear where we're at right now at season's end.
