100 Themes Challenge #42: Dying. Featuring Chrom, fem!Robin, and Grima from Fire Emblem Awakening. I do a lot of fanart for this game... probably means it's pretty good.

I think I have a lot of pent up frustrations with Fire Emblem games and people dying because that was the first thing that popped into my head. Then I had to choose who I wanted to be mean to. (I'm the kind of player who never lets ANYONE die.) Originally, I was just going to doodle Chrom with Grima's reflection on the sword, but the reflection ended up being too small, so up went the wall of flames and Grima distantly behind it. Fem!Robin was an after thought and was put in AFTER the coloring was mostly done on the other parts. I used the Smash Bros. appearance instead of my avatar's since I never paired her with Chrom.
