The storm had hit with no warning. As if summoned from the very depths of Hell itself. With the crashes of thunder, haunting violin music could be heard and with it, an even more haunting voice, singing ever so softly. With the music's haunting call followed by a mighty crash of thunder, a horse's shrill scream filled the air and with it, the crashing of a tree felling somewhere. Soon after, the thunder of hooves rang out as a black stallion, with hellish red eyes and nose, galloped into view, past a haunting figure dressed all in silvery hues, her own haunting steed, standing next to her. As the stallion galloped by, his hooves glistened golden, the heart shaped gem on his browband glinting with the very souls he'd stolen. And on his back, a lone female rider, her face hidden from view by his inky black mane. As lightning streaked across the sky, and the thunder crashed, Katja sang her haunting lullaby.

I am super proud to present my newest SSO edit! With over 90+ layers of editing, I fell in love with the process for once. I fell back in love with art! Yesterday we got to meet the most haunting of the Dark Riders from Star Stable Online/SSO; Katja! Her very being sings to my own soul. How she thinks, feels and views the world around her. We're one in the same. We don't like people very much. Hell we don't even seem to like ourselves all that much either. But her song Dark Riders deserved a cover page of some sort. A backstory to the haunting music being played. And well, 4hrs later, this appeared. I'm super proud of this piece. It came together so smoothly, without much effort, and I'm feeling the 3month long art rut I've been in, coming to an end...finally!
