It just occurred to me but did his ability to see fundamentally change? I mean in his hell form he's covered in eyes like ones going all the way down his tail and all over his hood. But his heaven form only has eyes in the correct places. The hat does not count it is its own separate demon.. which now that I think about it what did the hat do to redeem itself?

That's aside I think it would be really uncomfortable to go from 20 eyes to 2.
