Al Capone by AllAiAlways on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

He ruled the streets with iron fist,
A criminal lord, a man dismissed,
Al Capone, the name he bore,
Infamous for his brutal score.
His bootlegging empire, vast and wide,
With speakeasies where people would hide,
And despite the law's relentless fight,
Capone reigned with all his might.
But in the end, justice prevailed,
And Capone's power finally curtailed,
A prisoner in Alcatraz he became,
His once-mighty empire put to shame.
Yet still his legend lives on strong,
A symbol of crime and all that's wrong,
A name that sends a chill down the spine,
Of those who know his sordid crime.
