The Circus Clown by AllAiAlways on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

With a red bulbous nose and a painted smile,
He captivates the crowd with his zany style.
His oversized shoes, so comically absurd,
As he stumbles and tumbles, without a single word.
He wears a polka-dot suit, all bright and bold,
With rainbow suspenders, and a hat that's gold.
His face a canvas, a colorful delight,
As he entertains with joy, from morning until night.
He dances and prances with a playful grace,
Spinning plates on sticks, all over the place.
Juggling balls and hoops with skillful flair,
A master of circus arts, beyond compare.
But behind the laughter, and the funny facade,
Lies a heart that's genuine, though often masked.
For the circus clown, a role he plays so well,
Conceals his sorrows, with a jester's spell.
He brings laughter to others, but who makes him smile?
Who sees the tears, behind the antics, all the while?
For the circus clown, a soul so complex,
An enigma, a paradox, a puzzle to perplex.
So, as he takes his bow, and leaves the stage,
The circus clown retreats to his quiet cage.
But in the spotlight, he'll be back again,
To make us laugh, and forget our pain.
For the circus clown, a beacon of cheer,
A symbol of resilience, year after year.
Bringing joy to the world, with a heart so kind,
The circus clown, a treasure to find.
