Description

I think Finrod and Amarie are both sweethearts, and they make a fun and happy pair.

I'm still obsessed with trying to paint the two trees. The thing is we can only depict the mingling of the lights as the light at any other time would be too blindingly brilliant - so here one tree is waning and the other is growing brighter.

There is a Quenya name for this time of day, isn't there? I did a search for it but couldn't find it. Would be so grateful if someone would let me know what it is... [update: thank so much to SemperViridis and Me-Jasna for their help! SemperViridis coined aldulómë for "dusk of the two trees" and aldumarëa for "dawn of the two trees". Me-Jasna found an excellent word on Parf Edhellen for twilight that translates as "both shining": yúcalë. All are beautiful and work perfectly!]

Done with MyPaint 1.0 and Wacom Intuos tablet.
