I worked on this for over a year...only to lose the file that contained the hundreds of layers this was made up of.

I ended up only being able to get the flat image back after weeks of trying to recover the file.

A disappointing outcome for so much work, but I figured I'd share it anyway. Don't want that work to go to waste.
