The world of Tethys has three moons, the size of the largest of which is not less than that of Luna, and the smallest no less than half that. It will quickly be seen that the tidal variation will be greater than on Terra, and thus littoral zones will be commensurately larger, with the seas advancing and retreating whole kilometres in areas with shallow shelving.

Given that I didn’t paint any vegetation, I gather this is such a zone near or at low tide, with a smattering of fishing vessels working the low-tide channels. At high tide, all but the largest rocks would be submerged.

Usual deal: single layer, flat oil brush only, ~30-40 minutes. Apart from picking a pale yellow for the sails I didn’t add any new colours after the intitial four. No references for some reason. :shrug:
