Description

This was my first attempt of an oil painting. After it was done I got the idea of making a series of 5, each depicting one of the elements. Apart from water, fire, earth and air you also have an element called 'Aether' wich stands for ideas, space, void.
And so I thought this could be Aether. It's more something spiritual than a real element I think so it suits her well.

It's based upon a painting by John Collier of Pythia, the Priestess of Delphi.

I made this one with the help of my teacher Christianne, also known as Raipun here on dA. Thank you very much for that!
