Description

"Lava Cat" aka "why I don't do things at night" or "dark colors are not my thing, apparently." But, you know... practice makes perfect, I guess. Just ought not be practicing on commissions.
The request was for "just whatever."
I'm going to rescan this at a friend's house. I hate my scanner. I hate it so much... I brought my old scanner home to try to hook it up and spent hours trying to get it to work to no avail. -_-; Damn hippy Vista. With its long hair. Get a job, hippy!
I may mess around with this a bit after I scan it-- make it different somehow.
One thing I did enjoy about it... the rock in places. I used an opaque watercolor mixed with a translucent watercolor. You can see where the opaque watercolor separated and it made a crackle pattern. Er... that was intentional... 9_9; Heh. Naw... It was totally a happy accident. Also used colored pencil in places. I was trying not to use ink, but I ended up going in afterwords and tweaking some things a bit.
