Description

This is my version of a Ring Wraith, riding through the woods. I was inspired to work on this after seeing "horseman" by and it's also where I got the idea to put the rider in a mist-ringed forest. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. Probably the best all CG background I've ever done. I learned a lot of new tecniques on this. It took awhile before I had built up the atmosphere I wanted, which took a lot of lighting effects, digital watercolor tecniques (ah, the salt brush *beams*) and blending tools. I used a reference for the horse.
Done with Corel Painter Essentials 2
Time taken: About 2 or 3 hours
