Tremble in fear before the Emperor of All He Saw, the Father of Monsters, the Necromancer, and Equestria's most ancient and dangerous villain ever ― Grogar! He ruled the land before Equestria was founded with tyranny and fear, and brought about a fear-soaked epoch of darkness and evil, creating the foulest of monsters and allowing them to reek havoc upon innocent lives. Fortunately, Gusty the Great and her Unicorn army were able to defeat the evil emperor by taking the source of his power - the Bewitching Bell - and hid it away in an enchanted cave high atop Mount Everhoof, weakening him. Everypony believed he was only a legend or a myth since then, but it seemed that he was alive all this time, biding his time and observing the changing world through his ungulate Palantir, waiting for the right moment to regain power again. After millienia of observing the ever changing world, and witnessing the Mane 6 and them using the magic of friendship defeating Equestria's most evil and powerful foes to date, he finally came up with a new plan: to create a legion of doom by recruiting the dethroned queen of the Changelings, Chrysalis, the dark overlord of the Crystal Empire, King Sombra, the magic-devouring centaur, Lord Tirek, and the power-hungry psychopath filly, Cozy Glow, and work together to destroy Twilight Sparkle and her friends forever. However, his plan was not as perfect as he hoped it would be. King Sombra defected from the legion to take over Equestria on his own, but was defeated by the Mane 6. And the remaining villains, after actually working together to retrieve Grogar's bell, decided to betray him and use his powers stored in it against the ancient fiend. However, when Chrysalis, Tirek and Cozy Glow stripped Grogar of his magic, instead of leaving him weakend, he returned to his true form ― as Discord! It turned out that the former villain of season two disguised himself in a misguided effort to prepare Twilight Sparkle as Equestria's new ruler.

Despite this deception, however, it didn't mean that Grogar was a myth in the end. His Bewitching Bell was real, the instruction manual detailing the bell showed illustrations of him, Discord himself mentioned that he was real, and even Jim Miller answered cryptically that he is out there somewhere. So the Emperor of All He Saw is still out in Equestria, and just like Discord's persona, he's probably gathering power, bidding his time, waiting for the perfect opportunity to seize control of Equestria once more...

I will admit that I was not pleased with that infamous plot twist, and I know a ton of Bronies are so livid about it, they'll be trapped for eternity in anger management. And I also confess I've heard what I thought were rumors or trolling jokes sometime after the leaks occurred in the Netherlands. I tried to be in denial, hoping against hope that they were lies. At the same time, I trained myself to accept the possibility that it was all true. No matter what the outcome was, Grogar still remains my most favorite MLP villain, especially since we all have a confirmation that he is real, and while the mastermind of season 9 was actually Discord in disguise, it does give us an idea of what he looks like, who he is in character, and how powerful he is. Not to mention, we are getting a season 10 in comic book form, so there's a possibility he might finally appear in it.

As for me, I will continue to make vectors of this legendary evil. I enjoyed making them. Plus, as a fanfiction author, I have a feeling the real Grogar might appear in some of my FiMfics, perhaps one in particular. Let's wait and see...
