First off, wonderful work on the emote's expression, the subtle animation in the tongue and eyes really make the screaming come out of the picture. The hands look really cartoony and is a great effect. As for the ghost, great expression, it certainly shows the ghost is pissed of and who wouldn't be if somebody was screaming at you. The ghost looks like it's really been emotified, but just a little too much. It looks a tad to blue and not like a cartoon. That does work well in a way, the emote looks cartoony and stupid and, while the ghost looks more realistic. I think the shading is overall good, but the animation looks a little rough, you should speed it up a little, but it's not bad for your first time.

Lots of ghost emotes tend to be longer, and involving emotes getting scared and running off, with lots of frames and fancy tricks. You've managed to keep it simple, and funny. Of course, it's overexaggeration, everybody overexaggerates when doing stuff like emotes, but this is not a bad thing, in fact you've pulled it off very nicely.

For you're first animation you've done well, you know what to do with the hands and how to expand the shadow. I won't go into the animation too much, since I'm not exactly a master and don't want to give off anything false. The only bit I could possibly think of to improve is try and make it a bit smoother.

The overall emote is funny to look at, the great big oversized scream from the emote and the "so I'm a ghost, get over it" expression from the ghost work well together and make me laugh. Not exactly the most usable emote in conversations, but who said it has to be. As long as it's a cute, funny and overall fun emote to look at, then it gets a pass from me! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Wink)"/>

Also, one little thing, there is a white pixel just at the bottom of the ghost.
