Description
The Shirvan Khanate was a khanate that existed from 147 until 1820 when it was disestablished by the Russian empire (the khanate had been a Russian vassal since 1805) and reorganised into the Shirvan Province. The khanate was divided into 17 mahals and the capital of Fitdagh by the 1820s, this map shows that administrative structure alongside the borders of the khanate itself.
