EDIT: Huge thanks to for showing me what was wrong with Link's face and helping me fix it!

Doodled this while watching gameplay footage of Skyward Sword. It looks better and better the more I see of it. There’s really not much I can think of to say about it because we still know so little, but I am encouraged by the fact that the developers seem to be acknowledging that Twilight Princess spread itself too thin and that they’re putting thought into making SS more focused. I hope this means also turning the focus of the story back on Link and his adventure, instead of revolving around the sidekick character (as interested as I am in hearing the origin story of the Master Sword). I’m also curious what the main method of long-distance travel will be; there’ll probably be warps, and Epona might reappear, but it’d be pretty cool if Link were actually able to fly thanks to his marvelous aerodynamic trousers. (Now that I’m thinking of a flying Link, it’s too bad there were no Ritos in Majora’s Mask; transforming into a full-fledged Rito would’ve been awesome.)

2014 EDIT: haha link's very stiff pose, I think this was when I realized I needed to know more about anatomy... on the positive side this was one of my first experiments with colors.
