Watercolor on 300 lb. hot press paper.

This guy was created for one of my classes. We had to take a real animal and study them intensely for several weeks while rendering them realistically (doing lots and lots of anatomy studies). Once we'd done that, we had to anthropomorphize them into a storybook character. I've been kind of obsessed with foxes recently because my daughter and several friends have recently revealed themselves as fox afficionados, so....Monsieur Reynard just sorta showed up.
