Inked in Steel by Armourus on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

Ink that bites, seared in flesh,
A bond with the dark, a whispered mesh.
Etched in veins of iron and fire,
These scars of steel, they never tire.

They call me home, in the dead of night,
Their voices echo, in the pale moonlight.
Bound by the chains of metal's might,
They bring me power, but drain my sight.

Tattooed in iron, carved in steel,
They bring the strength that I can feel.
But every line, every stroke,
Bears a curse, and a heavy yoke.
They give me life, they steal my soul,
The metal’s mark, it takes its toll.

Worn like armor, these runes of lead,
They speak of the battles, the blood I’ve bled.
But in their beauty lies a twisted game,
A price I pay in eternal flame.

The silver serpent, the golden claw,
They bind me tight, a silent law.
With every breath, the metal creeps,
Taking more as my spirit weeps.

Tattooed in iron, carved in steel,
They bring the strength that I can feel.
But every line, every stroke,
Bears a curse, and a heavy yoke.
They give me life, they steal my soul,
The metal’s mark, it takes its toll.

Forged in fire, bound by steel,
The ink runs deep, but the scars won’t heal.
A dance with darkness, a lover's blade,
In the forge of life, a debt is paid.

Tattooed in iron, carved in steel,
They bring the strength that I can feel.
But every line, every stroke,
Bears a curse, and a heavy yoke.
They give me life, they steal my soul,
The metal’s mark, it takes its toll.

In the shadows, I’m marked by fate,
A prisoner now, of the metal’s weight.
But in this pain, I find my place,
Inked in steel, I embrace the chase.
A warrior’s path, a deadly reel,
Forever bound, to the tattoos of steel.
