Wolf and the hunter. by Armourus on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

In twilight's silent, shadowed wood, Where ancient secrets lie concealed, Two souls converge, misunderstood, In nature's dance, their fates revealed.

The wolf, a creature of the night, With eyes that gleam like silver stars, Moves gracefully in pale moonlight, Through forests deep and hidden scars.

Its fur a cloak of ebony grace, A predator with wild desires, Yet in its heart, a hidden place, A longing for what love requires.

The hunter, armed with gun and blade, With purpose clear, he stalks his prey, In nature's balance, they're portrayed, As adversaries in the fray.

But in the stillness of the night, As hunter's eyes meet wolf's fierce gaze, A subtle shift, a change of sight, Reveals a different kind of phase.

For in that moment, they both see, The beauty of the wild and free, Connected in a web, a tree, Of life, where all souls find decree.

The hunter lowers his weapon, slow, Respecting nature's sacred grace, The wolf, with wisdom, seems to know, That sometimes peace can find its place.

In this tangled, ancient tale, Of predator and prey entwined, A deeper truth begins to sail, Through hearts and minds, a grand design.

For in the heart of every strife, There lies the chance to understand, That in the dance of hunter, life, Each soul is part of nature's band.

So let us learn from wolf and man, That harmony in nature's span, Can teach us all to find a plan, Where love and life forever stand.
