“It is Done”

During his fight with Ichigo Aizen’s body suddenly changes and he states that he has finally merged with the Soul King’s Power.
In reality Aizen still hasn’t fully merged but the energy he’s absorbed is beyond the power of the Hogyoku and for once Aizen is unable to read his own strength.
Devouring the Soul King has damaged the Hogyoku and caused Aizen’s Reiatsu to become chaotic allowing Urahara’s seal to finally activate. Aizen is sealed and the Soul King’s remains are careful extracted and reformed.
If he had managed to merge with too much of the SK It might have been impossible but it turns out Aizen hadn’t even absorbed 10%
