Backstory:

Falter was once a human; an innocent human. His human self was not a sinner, quite the opposite. He was a nice individual, who did many good deeds. He was known through his entire hometown as one of the nicest and kindest individual. Unfortunately, that was his undoing.

On a simple walk for a grocery run, he happened to pass by the local bank. A bank robber burst out, carrying many sacks of money. He was shocked to see that the robber was armed. Police officers arrived quickly, also at gunpoint, and demanded the robber to cease and decist. However, he didnt listen. For some reason, the human Falter attempted to push the cop out of the way of the shot. Unfortunately, his technique was wrong, and that caused him to get shot directly through his heart. The criminal was shot immediately afterward.

The spirits of both were present. The way to heaven, and the way to hell opened up. The innocent gained wings and a halo, and began to ascend. The spirit of the criminal wasnt having it. He ripped off the wings, stole the halo, and shoved the other into hell. This caused Falter to appear in hell. But, he wasnt alone for long. The criminal who originally shoved Falter soon dropped, Heaven denying his forceful way. But, they were not going to rescue Falter. Fueled by blind rage, Falter commited his first sin; he killed the criminal, then ate him. Once back in his right mind, he was horrified by what he did. He managed to retrieve his halo, patched it up, and vowed to not be corrupted by Hell.

Personality:

Falter's personality has not changed much from his previous life; he is very kind, compassionate, and courteous. However, its mixed in with something else; fear. He intimidates, scares, and isolates himself away from others, because he was afraid. He is afraid that the demon part of him will overpower, and cause him to act...like a demon. He also does his best to stay calm, because anger seems to draw it out.

Abilities:

Even though Falter is a demon, his spirit has a close connection to angels. He can easily overpower most low level demons on his own. He can use his holy energy to give demons great pain, and can even block out/cancel out their abilities. Standard abilities Falter possesses are increased speed and strength. He might have more power, but he's too afraid of his demonic self to try.

Ta-da! Finally! After so long, and days of designing and sketching, I finally got one of my Hazbin Hotel characters done. And its my persona! ^^

I originally had a different idea, but I took a step back to think of myself. Im a nice guy(or I try to be), Im big, and some people compared me to a teddy bear. So, I made myself fluffy and added a stitch/fabric concept. I believe I would never go to hell, so I had to get creative.

And, this is my entry for Marbola's contest!
