OC original concept art for a hypothetical scenario in Architecture studio: Meta
The studio focuses on the thought and analytical process progressing from small-scale objects to large-scale design (buildings), as well as developing a solid concept to 'sell your (building) idea'. I had to cram in a lot of key ideas in the last minute into this drawing so it was very rushed, unfortunately. There are plenty of mistakes but it did support my presentations well in the end. If I have time and motivation to redraw this exact cinematic moment in the future, I might revisit this.
This was one of the many artworks I included alongside my presentation for a dystopian-type building and I was kinda proud of it so here it is, archived in my dA.

Personally I don't agree with the fact architecture school requires us to draw boring linework plans, sections etc and showcase everything through 3D model renders that the computer does for you. While these are what I think are basic requirements, it's spoon-feeding and the ideas come from the computer, not from the person. There always has to be something more. Imagery that isn't from Rhino3D/autocad/whatever 3D rendering architecture program thing is not encouraged in my uni, because it shows lack of professionalism and basically, an insane mind=buildings that cannot be constructed, concepts that cannot work. While I agree not all buildings can be constructed (due to lack of money, technology or some other reason), ALL concepts can work at present moment. Eventually all buildings that accompany these concepts, I believe, will be able to be built because in the end, all we need is time. Time will advance economics, technology, ideas and intelligence and these are all factors that will make any building design rise eventually. Just because a building idea doesn't seem like it will work now, doesn't mean it won't work in the future. All that being said, I've definitely written a whole lot here to make up for my 6 month absence lol

TL;DR I'm just a student, but hey I don't agree with the way studio culture in my course works throughout my bachelor and masters years.

actually dying from sleep deprivation so i'm recuperating also i hate you so much, rhino3D
