A very quick stylization exercise that I did a while ago, in which I was looking for a more simplified way to paint shadows

I ended up drawing Firestar from Warriors. Man I miss this series!

I love this new style! It does look more cartoony than your usual pictures, but crisp lines and stark contrast between light and shadow really make the character stand out - and as I result, Firepaw looks as if he jumped straight from a professional animated movie.
