Description

My final couture design for my favorite paintings of all time, this one is The Swing by Jean-Honoré Fragonard. I love this painting it is a gorgeous as it is iconic. My design here is more interpretive about how the painting makes me feel and less the literal elements on the painting. Considering that the fashion in the painting is perfect I more wanted to capture the dreamy magic. I wanted to incorporate both the big poofy skirt of a 18th century French court dress and the masculine fashion the men in the painting are wearing. Kind of like the suit dress Garnet wears in SU.
