Wingus's Nemesis Skyfire-Vmode by AsswhompSupreme on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

A 'repaint' I did using Instructions for Armada Thrust downloaded from Hasbro's official Transformers website, [link]

Me and my buddy Wingus, aka ~ raoulthewarrior, were talking in AIM one day. He had an incomplete Thrust he wanted to repaint, and didn’t know what to do. Being completely obsessed with the mighty RiD Scourge like I am, I suggested his color scheme on the jet. A strange choice and a grand departure from the norm, but the idea seemed interesting enough to us both. We came up with a name for it, Nemesis Skyfire (we used the whole “Nemesis” name thing that the recent “Scourge’s” have been switched to, and the name of one of the RiD Decepticon jets. Thus, Nemesis Skyfire). Well, the idea made me start on this repaint, to show him what I was thinking of, meanwhile, he actually started the repaint himself on his toy. In the end, our ideas varied quite drastically. Wingus wasn’t too happy with how his came out, and when mentioning it to a mutual friend, ~ SigmaCore, it was stated that Scourge’s color scheme CAN’T work on every mold, despite what I think/say. I took this as a challenge and decided to show him MY results. Previously, I only had the jet mode done, so I had to quickly slap together the robot mode to post this thing. Keep in mind, this isn’t supposed to BE Scourge in some freaky jet form, it’s just supposed to show that Scourge’s color scheme could still work on this mold and look nice.

No idea what the Minicon should be called, so if Wingus or anyone else has any suggestions, go for it, heh.
