Yes, I do shonen-ai. (I prefer yaoi, but I'm kinda leery of posting that stuff.) This is only "ideologically sensitive" if you hate gays.
& no, the guy on the left is NOT LIGHT YAGAMI!
This actually isn't my pairing of choice, but I was reading a really good fanfic, so I kinda did a fanfic of a fanfic & drew this to go along with it (it's near the end after they've made up & started dating in the fanfic-fanfic).
While I was at it, I decided to experiment with a fairly high-realism manga style. I wanted to get a feel for what these 2 might look like as real people. I still can't believe I figured out how to approximate Jonouchi's hairstyle in a way that could actually be done (with a little gel, maybe).
