Fan Art - Tasha and Ginger by AthrunNailo on DeviantArt (original) (raw)

Tasha's tail wagged happily behind him as walked with a spring in his step. His heels clicking gently against the sidewalk as he did. Tonight was date with Jennifer, and while the young kitsuven was nervous he was looking forward to it. Yesterday Mito had helped him pick out a new dress and some accessories to wear on his date. She had also helped him with some more casual clothes that he could wear when not working at the Spit and Polish. He would have to thank Mito for her help after his date. Perhaps if things go well with Jennifer they could go on a double date with Mito and Chai?

He was wearing one of the outfits that Mito had suggested, a white halter top that showed off his abs, with matching white arm tights. This was paired with a short blue pleated skirt, with thigh high blue stockings and a pair of black heels. It felt good to have some clothes of his own that he felt comfortable in. Most of his casual clothes were sweatshirts and jeans that he brought with him from his village. Of course Kimi was always willing to lend him clothing when needed.

Now that he had his clothing sorted, there was one more thing that he needed. Flowers. Kimi had suggested that Tasha get Jennifer a bouquet of flowers for his date. He had recommended a small flower shop that was only two blocks away from the maid cafe. The Scarlet Clover Flower Shop.

A few moments later, Tasha had arrived at the Scarlet Clover Flower Shop. He was about to walk in when he saw a young woman standing outside. The woman had short wavy ginger hair, brilliant blue eyes, and freckles on her fair skin. She was wearing a green dress with lace trim that accentuated her figure. As soon as Tasha approached she smiled at him.

"H--Hi, welcome to the Scarlet Clover Flower Shop." She said in a sheepish voice. "Is there something I can help you with?"

"Good afternoon." Tasha said in a friendly tone. "I was looking to buy some flowers for my..." He paused, he wasn't sure if he could call Jennifer his girlfriend. While they had known each other since they were children this was the first time they had ever dated. "My friend." He settled on. "I have a date with her tonight and thought maybe I should get her a small bouquet of flowers."

Ginger nodded to him. "Well that we could do, do you know what kind of flowers your 'friend' would like?"

Tasha opened his mouth to speak but stopped. He had never bought flowers before, let alone buying flowers for his date. Instinctively his ears flattened against his head and his tail drooped slightly. "I will be honest I am not sure. This is my first time on a date."

Ginger flashed him a reassuring smile and gave a slight chuckle. "Well could you describe your date?" She asked. "Perhaps if I knew more about her I could help you make a decision."

Tasha took a short breath. "She is a beautiful, though I suppose that doesn't help." He said with a small laugh. "Her name is Jennifer, I've known her since we were children. She was always kind to me." His blue eyes glazed slightly as memories of his youth start to flood over him. "Her eyes would always light up when I came into the room. Though we rarely socialized. My parents worked as servants in their mansion. But she never looked down on me as one of the 'help'." He took another breath as his ears and tail return to their normal position. "We've not seen each other for a year, not since I left to travel to the city. I was a bit surprised that she wanted to meet for dinner."

"Hmmm." Ginger said as her gaze shifted to the many flowers that were on display. A few moments later she returned her gaze to match Tasha. "She does sound like a very nice person. How about a small bouquet of red roses?"

"That sounds great." Tasha said as his tail started to wag.

"Wonderful." Ginger said. "Come into my shop and I'll put together a bouquet."

Another piece of fan art involving my new character Tasha. Ginger is a character from @MyScarletClover. Ginger works in her aunt's flower shop, The Scarlet Clover. @MyScarletClover makes beautiful art of beautiful women. Some of a very 'risqué and sophisticated' nature. If you don't follow them I recommend that you do.
