I am passionate about horses, nature, and wildlife and draw/paint what inspires me--some fantasy, some real. I own a purebred Akhal-Teke colt in real life, he is my treasure. Aralkum is a closed, fantasy landrace breed that was historically used by nomadic peoples for warfare and riding in the harsh conditions of the steppes. They are named for the infamous Aralkum desert, a dried basin from the once great Aral Sea that connected much of Central Asia and its ancient, interwoven past that this breed represents. They are a spirited, highly intelligent, and sensitive hot-blood with great heart, and the breed exhibits great versatility in sports.
