Fullview please! | Yep! Jayce has a friend and future love interest, and her name is Teagan.

To be fair their relationship is slow-going and very bumpy and takes months to turn from friendship into something more, so don’t think Teagan’s a shallow I-need-a-man-for-validation character. It’s just a pleasant surprise that happens along the way and is only part of her growth.

In short, I am utterly in love with Teagan’s wings. I adore their colour and how they shift from pink to orange to purple to blue and how eye-catching and unique they are. My problem so far with character design has been leaving out intricate colour patterns and such and sticking with the simple stuff, but I really wanted to properly attempt some wing patterns. The reason she has blue flames instead of red like Jayce is primarily because her gemstone is blue sapphire – not for extra-special-fire control like Azula from Avatar’s flames are. Teagan’s sad expression also reminds me of Asami from LoK… I don’t know why, maybe it’s something about the eyes and mouth, but it’s hard to pick. It just unsettles me is all XD

I also love her perching pose in the bottom right – I feel it really captures her spirited confidence and poise.
