Description

When Uranus beheld his children, the Hecatoncheires, and the Cyclops, he was filled with such horror and revulsion that he shut them up within Tartarus, and placed the she-dragon Kampe in charge of them as their gaoler. When Zeus began his war against the Titans, he permanently relieved Kampe of her duties in order to rescue his uncles, and have them help him battle the Titans.
